The Rail Trail is an all-year-round recreational facility that was once the Otago Central Rail Trail. The railway has recently been as a public reserve and is now open to cyclists, walkers and horse riders.
The Otago Central Rail Trail provides a chance to see scenery not able to be viewed from the highways and to experience a sense of remoteness, history and tranquility.
